is gpon router (nokia G-140W-F unlocked) suitable for bsnl ftth connection

im gonna buy this used router from a dealer as he mentioned that he already used it for bsnl connection but my provider says its GPON so it doesnt accept bsnl connection (also bcoz i rejected his low quality router from Syrotech which costs double than this) can someone help me with this headache? am i good to go or is there any way like any converters should i buy with this

BSNL provides EPON in most places, so GPON device isn't compatible.

This guy was lucky that the Tenda ONT supported EPON as well, did you do your research on whether this Nokia ONT is an XPON device?

@jothis you can only use APC to upc converters to match the suitable port on router..

and also this airtel one wont work

@jothis APC/UPC are connector types. Physical connection. Blue/Green thing.

GPON/EPON are "connection" types. Software connection in simple language.

XPON supports both GPON/EPON.
