Is it possible to block ads on Prime Video using Nextdns?

whenever i watch something on prime video on my phone ,there is back to back 30 second ads ,but the same doesn't happen when i watch on prime video's windows app with NextDNS (custom filters) enabled,TBF it shows up a yellow dot like this but its been over an hour of skipping through a movie and i havent seen any ads so far.

skipping ahead also does not popup any ads so far.

How are you using NextDNS? Plain, DoH, or TLS?

If you don't have an allegiance to NextDNS, then try AdGuard DNS, ControlD, or Hagezi to see if it blocks ads. I am saying this because if plain text DNS works for your case, then maybe you can use any tunneling app to force these DNS over any Internet on your phone.

I guess plain NextDNS with the app installed on windows and my phone

Hmm I’m not sure ,it sounds a bit too technical

Like my current setup is filled with custom selected filters on nextdns and it somehow blocks mobile app ads and prime video ads too

no ads in the whole timeline so far but prime video's app is blacking out my screen for no reason
