RameshJeevan has not been removed from Dish TV but they are having some technical hitch with DD which used to beam Jeevan on their platform and it will be back soon
I understand that the permission to uplink news and current affairs programmes of Jeevan TV had been withdrawn by the government as the Union Home Ministry had not granted security clearance to Jeevan TV. As per the Government’s order, no Direct-to-Home service provider and cable operator should offer this channel on their network. So it is off the Dish TV platform as well. The channel was allowed to uplink in July 2002 and has been on the air since. However, it was asked to conform to the new uplinking guidelines that were issued in 2005 for news and current affairs channels, which they failed to do due to some internal problems.
Not concerned much with Jeevantv. They hav put Kiran/Surya Tv in Jeevan TV's place (Channel 924) i guess. or 922 Now Manorama News.More concern was Indiavision taking off from the dishtv
i dont agree with u that news is a false if there is such an government order how all the major and small cable operaters offer this channels (there is no problem for jeevantv it is available entire kerala through cable and its fta channel (include news and current affairs) dishtv is ignoring south especially kerala (around 5 channels they are not included)everyone intrested only in 9x,ndtv why keralites not coming forward for our channelscomeon guys and fight for our rights
