A number of posts on blogs and tech sites today; Microsoft has mentioned that Linux and other FOSS infringes upon over 200 of their patents. Its old news . But many commercial linux are paying license fees to M$ thus indirectly accepting their claims ( Novell and Turbo ) . M$ hasnt directly sued anyone so liabilityof this claims is still in question
