Is Reliance Jio Fiber worth the price?

Hi all,

Is jio fibre worthy for the given money..?
The base plan or starting plan starts from 699(including gst its825) where we get 200+50 gb, where 100gb extra is for lockdown period and 50gb is for 6months for new customers. After lockdown period ends that 100gb and after 6 months that 50gb will be removed. So its only 100gb for 825rs.Is Bsnl ftth is good compared to jio..?

@Rakesh Chandra - Most ISP quality and prices vary across India. I live in Bangalore and I found Jio fiber meets my demand. Is it perfect ? NO. The prices are reasonable compared to the other ISPs in my city. I like the 199/- plan that offers 1000 GB(@100 Mbps) for a week which amounts to 940/- for a total of 4000GB (28 days). Speed has been consistent, found little to no issues. The commercial plans are worth it only if you want higher speeds and want the subscription based OTT bundled with it. (IMO they offer less data for the price)

Edit - I used to be a BSNL user for more than a decade. Had to shift to Jio because of their deteriorating quality in service and plans.

@bigman91 thanks friend, I have been using Bsnl Adsl 10mbps from past 4 years and the service has been satisfactory and its good in mysore, I wanted Bsnl ftth connection which is again good in mysore city. I have applied more than 5times online but no response from them. Even recently I had been to their office for new ffth connection but they are telling it may take upto 3 months for new connection. They are not responding with correct answers. Applied jio online last week and jio people called me for new connection and they informed that connection is possible to my house. Fine, except 199 plan their plans with limited data are not satisfactory. .For bronze plan atleast they should have provided permanent 250gb.

Take the 699 plan for the first month and use 199 plan after the first month is over.
If incase you exhaust your data, you can recharge with 199 plan and get 1000gb for 1 week.

I would say, do not take JIO unless no other ISP in your area. maybe take BSNL FTTH or can look for local ISP?

Actual cost if using on 199 voucher.
Rs.199 * 52 weeks = 10348 / 12months = Rs.862.33 per month + 18% GST = Rs.1017.55 per month

What plan is this 199?
hows that even possible?

I cant see any plan like 199 in my jio app
