Is Rs2000 enough for a descent Android TV Box ?

Ratings and reviews show that it has problems. It's better to buy a Firestick or MiBox.

Don't buy these unknown brand Android TV boxes If you plan to use Netflix/Primevideo/Hotstar. Stick to Fire TV Stick or MiBox or even the Marq Turbostream dongle because all these have Widewine L1 DRM certification necessary for these streaming services.

I agree, Android TV Box are simply not worth it with many of the limitations (netflix etc). Also you have issues with respect to Casting , i.e no built in chromecast. I have a Android TV box , but its now attached to a less used TV once I got Hathway Playbox as that is much better. And yes, other devices like @Nishant says are better.

Is Amazon Fire TV Stick better than an Android TV box ? I have no idea so I am asking.

If your requirement is mainly for media/OTT apps, its definitely more optimised. But if you need to use other android apps, then no.

Right, thats a valid point. If you are looking beyond streaming that you need see other options. But considering the budget, I doubt that there is much more you can do on a 2k budget device.
