How about TS STB., Why i could see a notable difference on the pic clarity what they provide in Chennai rather than Bangalore?I guess the make and Model what they use in Chennai should be different from What bangalore uses? The main thing is ., i did feel like DTH when i saw Hathway Cable in LCD TV in my office.

I was using Digital Cable on my Tv since quite a while and I thought I would be able to replace ma Tata Sky on our other LCD with the CAS Digitelly box(from DEN Digital) and so got one installed..And thats the TV ma mom n dad use..although pixelation was less compared to TS..They did not like the slow interface of the STB(it takes full 2 seconds to change channels)..plus the sound level is not uniform for all channels..The volume changes when you change channels..And to top it all the service was down for 2 hours!!!!!!..When we called the cable guy he said there s some maintenance wrk going on in the control room..and so we recharged the Tata Sky connection again..They re too used to TS..But we're keepin the STB on AV2 for the local channels(Metro Nation, Delhi AajTak and Sahara NCR) and some other channels that TS dsnt offer( FIRANGI, IBN7, Zee Sports, 9XM, B4U Music, Music India,ETC and many more), we also get all the sports channels without any add on packs all for just 200 bucks...By the way Ya knw it also has around 11 tamil channels..although I dont understand Tamil but Im a hard core Rahman fan and I get RAJMusix and Jaya Max..n i cn catch the maestro s songs thr!

maine airtel aur big tv dono ka video quality Tata Sky se compare kiya aur mere ankho ko jho dikha us se main yeh keh saktha hoon ki tata sky ka video quality un dono se behthar hain. sun dth ka video nahin dekha hain maine. but iam sure among all dth players tata sky has best video quality. audio quality shayad big tv ka best hain. service:tata sky ka service best hain.

My experience with Tata Sky has been excellent. Frankly, I don't mind paying Rs 20 or even Rs 50 extra a month for the packages. In any event, I think the packages are bad only if you want south channels (which I don't).
Think about it. In real terms if you are even paying Rs 50 extra per month for the channels, you end up paying Rs 600 extra in a year. Most people pay a lot more in phone bills in a month. I think we are really lucky to get channels at such a low cost - in most places outside India you would pay for one channel what you are paying for the full bouquet in India. I don't know what the fuss is all about. I bet everyone blogging on this is paying a lot more for internet but for some inexplicable reason think paying Rs 40 more for the better service on TS is a rip off. Guys, whats with you?
