I really want to try this, but afraid that if this does not work, they won't refund me anything, even if they do, it will be a big hassle

I am also ok with 2249 + 301 = 2550

Data plan are not allowed on voice only plans.
Trai has ruined it further for end users. The voice only regulation they brought was missing the necessary details. It instead spoiled the left over value plans.
I guess they do it intentionally each time.

301 plan is different for everyone I think. It's 1GB/day for 28 days plus 3 months Hotstar Mobile subscription on my app.
