is uploading in 749NU plan free?

i have this 749NU plan ( living in delhi ). downloading from 12.00 am to 8.00 am is free. i wanted to know about uploading. the plan provides 256 kbps uploading speed. is uploading free only for 8 free download hours ( i.e. from 12 to 8 ) or is it free for the whole day!!!??

I use 849 NU in Mumbai, which is the same plan as 749 NU in delhi.......and after numerous tests, i have concluded, that my uploads during the day are not free, and are being counted towards my usage !!

I have only posted one or two messages in IBF. Even then Upload is about 1 MB.
There is some exchange of data in the network whether you upload or download.
and in MTNL UPLOAD is not counted , and what you observed may be D/L traffic exchange data. Usually 10% is lost, whether I upload or not ( In BSNL)
Another way to check is Status in your LAN. Pkts/bytes sent/ received will give you the idea.
