Issues with Tata Sky + HD

I have a problem too.
previously, I was a TS+ user.
I had a few issues with it, when it came to recording stuff.
I had serieslinkrd quiet a few programs on it.
But it kept acting weird. for example.
I series linked Tarak Mehta ka oolta cchashma which is aired @ 8:30 mon to fri. but instead of recording just that one episode in a day, it kept recording all the episodes including rpeats. so now I have 5 eps of it per day. and it happens with TMKOC only. then in some other cases like 2& a half men. I have to put it on record every day despite turning on the series link. =\
I thought it must be a prob with the sw.
So no I moved to TS+ HD. But the same prob persists. with the same god damned shows. any idea why is this happening ??
Any solutions ??

& btw, the stb keeps freezing onto the same channel on a few occasions, particularly on the ones that have some Actve thingie related to it, like star cric, ndtv good life, star news, etc. dkse anyone else have such issues ??
1) You seem to be double posting in 2-3 threads ...i wonder how ...forum does not allow you to post 2 posts within 30 seconds
2) Even if you post 2 posts together ...normally they merge ...in your case it is not happening ..i wonder why

TS STB picks the show name and puts it in the series ..if the repeat comes with the same name (which it will) ...that will also be recorded.
Simple solution ...just delete the other 4

I too have TS+ HD...seems to me that they are still squashing some bugs. Lets wait for 10-15 days ...hopefully the next update should make it work smoother

That's not true. It's not supposed to just record all airings of the same show - it's (or supposed to be) much smarter than that. AFAIK, series link info comes from the operator along with the EPG so the STB knows which airings are repeats and which ones are actual first time telecasts.

And all this works fine for me for most shows in TS+. Only rarely does it actually record repeats or miss an episode (and usually that's because the operator doesn't provide accurate info).

I agree ...only some of the series show this error ...but cannot figure out a pattern ..WHY ?

This is not the only problem with TSHD+ there are many more:-1) This kind of wired problem are majorly with almost all Channels of Sony. So I think there is something wrong at Sony and not any of the DTH;2) Earlier in TS+ if we are watching some show for around 15mins or so and we press Record button without changing the channel it used to record that show from beginning but in TSHD+ it record from the movement you press Record button. This is very bad it must be as earlier;3) Volume Problem is major one this must be rectified on urgent basis;4) Pause & Rewind are not working for HD channels (I have not tried with other channels);I was expecting much better performance from TSHD+ but, after World Cup I will switch back to TS+ till TSHD+ will be a stable one.

No, for me it records from where I had been watching the show. If however, you switch channels and start recording then it'll start from the current point.

Are you sure? Working fine here.

1) I have faced the issue with Star World shows ...so i dont think its a issue with Sony channels alone.
2) Works fine for me - records the program from start
3) Once in 10 days volume bar gets stucked ....have to switch off the stb and switch on again
4) Works like a charm for me - rewind/forward in TS+ HD is smoother than TS+
