Issues with Vodafone recharge!

Good day, Please note that today on 28th June 2010, I asked a shop in vikhroli east to recharge my vodafone prepaid account ( phone number - 9833384562 ) with an amount of Rs. 350. The shopkeeper asked me if I normally recharge with Rs. 350. I replied that I generally recharge my phone in excess of Rs. 3000.Then the shopkeeper recharged my account with Rs. 350. I received an SMS instantly as follows,Quote:Processing request for a refill of INR 350. ( Transaction id MU10186328074), Please pay to retailer.Unquote. After that I started driving my car and when I reached home, I saw another SMS which read as follows"Quote;Your account has been refilled succesfully by INR 216.49. Your vodafone prepaid account balance is Rs. 217.35. Your transaction ID is MU10186328074.Unquote. I called the vodafone customer care, and I was informed that this is due to some scheme which is offered to some vodafone customers who receive prior information about some offer which gives them full talktime. The customer service representative told me that this is the fault on part of the retailer and vodafone is not responsible for my loss is talktime.I find this argument strange and unethical to say the least. I donot see the reason why I should suffer for the new schemes which keep coming up these about which I as a customer was not informed. In the end I am feeling cheated !I request you to kindly give me my rightful talktime failing which I will take up the matter with cunsumer forum and TRAI.I hope you will not force your valued customer to take such a harsh step and bring this matter to satisfactory end.
