Jio 5g option greyed out in iPhone !

Tried same SIM in any other 5G Phone?
Jio was not identifying my Samsung S23+ as 5G phone to activate 5G.
I inserted sim in iPhone 12 mini, and 5G got activated. Got SMS as well from Jio about 5G activated.
Then again inserted same sim in S23+, and it also started displaying 5G network for Jio.
 
Guys

I converted my physical sim to esim but guess what - even esim is showing the same message.

I don’t know what to do now. :-(

The 5g service started working on its own on the esim now.

Yep, it takes close to an hour for 5G to be activated on a new sim. Noticed this when I got a new connection recently. Initially was connecting only over LTE, then I made a call, sent an SMS, and sometime after 5G started working.
