Jio 5g option greyed out in iPhone !

Dear BF community

I have been using 5g on jio since march 2023 on my iPhone 14 plus.

Yesterday my phone lost network and upon restarting I notice that the jio 5g has stopped working. The options are greyed out with the following warning :

Your current SIM does not support 5G.Contact your network provider for more information.


Anyone else having this issue ? What should I do ?

I think the best option is to reach out to Jio directly. Which plan are you on?

I am on the 395 84-day plan. It was working fine all these months and suddenly stopped. I will reach out to Jio customer care and update this thread when this problem resolves.

In the meanwhile, if some member has any info, will appreciate it.

As expected, clueless Jio customer care says your handset is faulty :-D

I will try my luck with sim replacement.

Try reseting network settings from settings->general->transfer or reset iPhone->reset->reset network settings

Go to Jio Store and tell this problem ask them to replace the sim card.

Replacement of sim card is the only solution. It should enable 5G standalone mode by itself within few mins of new sim activation. Then you get the 5G toggles enabled.
