I think you guys have noticed how Jio doesn’t want you to use their Jio router admin controls (indirectly). Every 15 days or so, or even if you don’t open your Jio Fiber router admin panel for a few days and then try to open it, you get a pop-up message. There, it mentions that you have to change your Jio Fiber router admin password (not the Wi-Fi password), and they put some conditions: 😡

  1. You can’t use your old password (okay, which is obvious).
  2. You can’t use your last 3 passwords.
Are you crazy or what? First, your system forcefully tells you to change the password every 15 days (I’m not sure exactly how many days, but in my case, if I don’t open it for 15 days or more, it asks me to change the password). Like, how is a person supposed to remember a new password every time?

And the Jio router admin panel only stays open for 3 minutes. If you stop interacting, it auto-logs out. Seriously, just 3 minutes? On the old firmware, there was an option to increase the interaction time with the router up to 999 minutes (the highest setting), but in the new firmware, it's locked at 3 minutes. The option is still there, but it’s unusable right now. in Conclusion Jio is indirectly telling you not to use the router admin panel

@raj47 You can change the session timeout under users management in the web ui. Set it to 999 minutes. This way you are not logged out after 3 minutes.

@rabil I already mentioned that the option is still there, but it's unusable. Even if I set it to 999, it works for a few days, then it reverts back to the default 3-minute timer. This issue occurs due to an incorrect timer in the router, and that’s why it keeps happening. There’s no way to permanently fix this issue
