Hey guys, I'm getting frustrated with high ping, high latency, and high jitter. I'm using Jio Fiber with a wired connection. In the end, I've attached some photos showing the speeds I get. However, when I switch to wireless, it gets worse—you can't imagine, are you using fiber or normal cable internet?

PS: A few days ago, I got lower jitter, ping, and latency without changing any settings in Jio Fiber. It just automatically improved. However, now it has gotten worse.

Guys, if anyone here can help me get lower ping, latency, and jitter, please do. I have used custom DNS settings like 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8, and I get good ping and latency with low jitter. But when I'm playing any game, especially BGMI, the ping spikes. Not only that, but YouTube videos also buffer. Moreover, it works well for a few days, then it gets worse. I don't know why, but it won't get resolved unless I switch back to Jio's own DNS. That's really frustrating.

Is there any special setting in Jio Fiber that I can enable to get lower ping, jitter, and latency? If yes, please tell me. Here are some speed test results on my Jio Fiber. All these tests were done after I reset the Jio Fiber.

I have tested it with the help of multiple speed tests sites

Please remove this misunderstanding that changing DNS impacts latency or jitter.
JF ONT is crap, if you really want lower loaded latencies, change ONT. Its a long and expensive process, if you can afford. Method to do so is given in the forum itself.

@raj17 Some Jio ONT have stability issues. The replaced router Jio gave me was having unstable ping even to router's IP address. 😹 So, check if you're having the same issue. Mine was spiking to 4-12ms randomly.

After changing ONT, condition improved here but jitter is still there. I don't think their infrastructure is good everywhere.

@Zuke You know, if I complain about ping issues, they first say that if your internet is working, then everything is working perfectly as well. I'm talking about their customer service. The customer service provider from Jio says to call customer care first. Last time I had a range issue with my router, it took them 4 days to resolve the problem, and I got a new router.
