Jio Fiber Free Trial -> Combo Plan (199) -> Bronze Plan
Hi. I was curious to know if anyone has recharged the new Bronze 30Mbps plan. New customers will be on the trial 150Mbps plan. So new Bronze Plan 30Mbps will only be with those who have recently recharged it, after their old plan expired.

If any such users are there, how is your experience with regards to symmetric upload/download at 30Mbps? How is the streaming? Does 4K Netflix/YouTube stream with ease or is there a lot of buffering? Do video calls seem improved/degraded? A short review of the Bronze plan will be helpful for people deciding whether or not to get it, or to go for the higher Silver 100Mbps plan.
 
@bhojv74 That seems helpful. So, you did not notice any perceivable difference between 30Mbps and 100Mbps as far as streaming 4K in Netflix and Amazon Prime was concerned?

Also, what about video calls? This will probably be able to be answered by someone who's on symmetric 30Mbps up & down. My assumption is that the opposite person may get better video quality due to the higher upload speed.
 
Even on 100mbs, I checked on my router, when I start playing the 4k video the burst traffic goes upto 90 mbps, then settles between 25-30 mpbs in few seconds. With 30 mpbs restricted I thought the video will take more time to start playing, but I guess it was very minimal to even get noticed.
 
It depends on the bitrate of video on streaming services. 4k 60fps on youtube might have issues but I’m not sure
 
Yes, depends on bitrate. On PC and newer phones, Youtube delivers VP9 coded video which is usually half the size of H264 for the same quality and resolution.
