I’ve been experiencing an issue with my Jio Fiber Router for the past week where the red light on the router blinks every night around 10:40 PM to 12:00 AM. When this happens, the internet cuts off completely.

The Jio Centrum web UI opens during this time, but restarting the router from the UI doesn’t fix the problem. I have to manually power cycle the router to get the internet back, which is inconvenient because the router isn’t located on the same floor as my room.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Could it be a scheduled maintenance, firmware bug, or hardware problem? I will call Jio tomorrow and see if they can provide a solution.

I looked it up, and this router has a fiber port same as the Jio router. Since I haven’t worked with fiber routers before, I could use some help. I found a yt video where someone shows how to set it up, but he never explains how he obtained key info like the “GPON SN.” (or maybe he did but I didn't get it)

If I use this router, will the VOIP calling feature still work? My family relies on the phone line/number provided with JioFiber. And they also use the set top box to watch shows.

Okay I figured out how he setup the GPON SN. But I don't know how the VOIP will work, there is a telephony tab on the router ui, but im guessing I need ID, password, proxy details

I see the benefits of the router, but not having a (free) phone line especially when my family uses it, is a deal breaker. Maybe will buy in the future.

Also a Jio Technician/Engineer came, checked said the fiber power was too high and he also reset the router. Now I just have to wait till 11pm tonight see if it's fixed.
