Maybe this is old news but for some reason I cannot use any Amex card to recharge my jio fiber using the Jio app. Always get an error popup but a Visa card works.

Has anyone faced the same?

@IfranAli @tr1k0N4 @Zuke Hey, any idea about setting up OpenWRT with JioFiber?

I'm using GL-iNet Slate AX, can't seem to make it work even after setting mac address of Jio ONT and keeping everything else as-is like my current TP-Link Router.

Hey bro,
You are trying to setup a TP-Link onu to GL-iNet router...

First Tplink onu
1) Change GPON SN provided by Jiofiber (Router Company name+ Mac address)
2) VLAN ID will be Control by OLT.

Second GL-iNet router
1) Create a new WAN interface
2) Default VLAN ID :- 1015
3) Clone the Mac address from your Jiofiber back sticker or web ui.
4) Only for Automatically DHCP IP Addr ..

You are good to go ..

@kbhatt thanks! Currently VLAN ID is set on the ONU, I'll try with these settings.

@cruzeee You can tag the VLAN on the G3 as well. I use it that way.
Also, the only authentication on the router level is MAC, printed on the back of JioRouter.

@IfranAli that didn't work for me with OpenWRT, I set it to Control by OLT and now it's working fine!
