JioFiber technicians left the distribution box open in my area. Should it cause any issues during rain?

JioFiber technicians left the distribution box (From where the fiber comes into my house) in my area open.

They are not coming to lock it despite several requests. Customer care doesn't have any provision to inform them, too.

Should it cause any issues during rain, like water going inside the connectors and causing loss in optic power?
 
No, it is not affected by rain. Bu they are not waterproof possibly only water resistant. So, unless there's a massive storm and very strong wind that somehow drives water into the junctions that could possibly render the optical connection in an unstable state. In my case, if one of the Airtel or TSBB guys leave the boxes open I close them myself or have them closed by our colony watchman.
