just wait for multitude of copy pasted content from third party sites which probably quotes jobs or cook or ivy. sadly, i cannot find a way to unsubscribe from this thread because this is not going anywhere. we are dealing with an Apple fanboy here. and there is no use arguing.

how would you feel if the company that launches a product that revolutionizes something but uses the legal system in such a way that they prevent anyone else from offering a similar service in the name of patent infringement? would you prefer a world with just one search engine, one mapping platform, one mobile carrier, one mobile phone company, one car company etc etc.

I won't prefer that kind of world. And certainly Apple won't prefer it that way because hypothetically if they have dominated the 100% market then there will definitely be certain decrease in their driving force passion. As Steve had always said that their vision is to make the best products on the planet. That's what drives them come to Apple every day in the morning to make the world little better.

Anyways tell me when there ever was any patent infringement based on any service? Samsung basically copied the look & feel of iPhone. The basic design of iPhone & iPad. Their first 3 touchwiz were the clear copies of iOS. In earlier stages with Android, Google was trying to copy the dominant RIM. But with the launch of iPhone, they tore down their OS & directly copied iPhone OS. iOS was built in UNIX. The stripped down & made from scratch version of Macintosh. Google copied it with Linux based Android. It was like that till gingerbread. With 4.0 era both Google & Samsung started to drift apart from Apple design/OS to avoid the patent infringement trouble.

It's clearly seen when Samsung's Galaxy Tabs & Nexus devices were banned for infringing Apple's patent. And war has just started. We will see.

And Android users should not be proud of their OS even 1%. Yes they will have some additional this & that half-assed features like Face Unlock, Voice Input etc but most of them are totally unaware that they are basically using the rip-off phones which are functioning because of Apple's patented Multi-touch & iOS core.

There is no such thing in me like fanboyism. I have recently admired Google's efforts in Android Jelly Bean but what all you android people fail to understand is that look at the phones before the iPhone. Look at the tablets & palmtops before the iPad. And look after it. You'll get the idea. All of those were made possible because of Apple Multi-touch, core iOS & several other essential developed layers.

And they copied it blatantly. To me that is wrong.

No comments on bar notification thing  ?Hope you are not calling me "Android" people :p , as that would be an equally bad joke as some of the other stuff...

I asked the same question to another Apple Fanboy, who was giving similar fancy statements prior to that, never returned to comment on that thread after that. Seems to be working like a charm

Oops I haven't seen that post which was in bottom. And no. I am not calling you Android people. Nor that I wanted to blame anybody who's using Android. I just wanted to lay out the facts.

And about bar notification. Yes I have comments. :D

It's not the only thing which Apple has reassembled in iOS. The below are five main feautres which could be seen as Apple copied it.

Five Ways Apple Rips-Off Android with iOS 5 | PCWorld

Yes they have done it. But they will do it 'right'. iPhone maker won't give this feature & that feature unless they have truly mastered the tech behind it. They won't even give much room for the tweaks & widgets but it just 'works' in Apple's case. They have yet to give NFC. The upcoming app called 'Passbook' could be seen as their homework before giving actual NFC. So when they will finally introduce NFC, does that mean they have copied it from Android & other lot? I don't think so.

There were touchscreen phones & tablets long before iPhone & iPad. But Apple has redefined how actually it should be done. This was hilarious when Apple striked back to Samsung with 2005 iPhone prototype design.

It's still amazes me that how much further they are actually thinking? It's really hard for me to even imagine that especially when in 2005 the kind of phones which were coming in likes of Nokia 6610. So they actually perfected & evolved the design and introduced it later in 2010 with iPhone 4 which is still world's most popular phone design ever shipped in largest volumes via iPhone 4 & 4S.

I keep hearing this. Can you please tell me in plain words what the "look and feel" of the iPhone comprises of? I'd like to know what exactly this magical "look and feel" is.

Maybe Samsung disagrees & is working on tweaking iphone stuff as well :p ..

Give me some 15-20 minutes, I will come back when I have finished laughing.

Oh & by the way , I asked that question earlier in this thread as well.

And to add - As an improvement they tweaked it by replacing ios with Android instead

From me there will always be a reply. It could be a pretty late reply but I will do it eventually. The forum always offers something that can't happen with proximal communication. There is no predetermined assumptions about the poster. What you write is who you are. You have no age, no gender, no colour, no creed, no appearance whatsoever. You are your words.

Generally users should learn to write well and other people will respect them for that even if they don't agree with what one is writing. They need to learn to debate by critically thinking about how others might deconstruct one's opinion so one can adjust his/her communication as others conceive it.

This was actually fun. I love arguing with fandroids. :D

I dont know but I heard Batman's voice while reading the above post ..Oh, and by the way, ever heard of sarcastic humour? I love it. I hope to improve on it all the time.
