Guys, In addition to the block of Kalaningar TV, MAKKAL, MEGA, DD5 on sunday nights SUN DIRECT has entered into another sick operation. they feel their signal will be stolen on cable tv. They feel displaying multiple SUN DIRECT logo on SUN TV, CT channel will avoid this. Even they should be strong on this point. They should not steal signal from other channel. Now Tune into SUN NEWS... Kalaingar Arivalam LIVE feed is taken from the Cable TV. (The logo of TV "GOLD TV LIVE" has be masked with RED COLOR box with words "Trichy") And the top headlines scrolls in the bottom screen which hides "This LIVE telecast is sponsed by Tamil Nadu cable TV association, Trichy District". How good they are right in taking the signals from other network that too the local cable Network. Really shame on SUN TV.They do not even have a courtesy to display "Feed from GOLD TV" or what so ever to display on the screen. They want to take credit by doing this.
 
am not a sundirect user,, although blocking of kalaignar tv during prime shows is cheap move by SUN. they should drag viewers by quality programmes and shows not by preventing viewers from other channels.am using dishtv and njoyed full manada mayilada show. i didnot go sun direct as i expected these kind of politics in their DTH service too and customers had to suffer even after paying money.SUN should learn dignity in its operations and then face the competetion from kalaignar tv in a formal manner.
 
May be taking signal from Cable network is legal., But even on the news if they take a clips from other channels say for example, the sports which was live telecasted on other channels, the use display "Courtesy: ESPN/TEN Sports" etc. It should be same for LIVE telecast also., atleast they have mentioned this in the RED color box which was hiding the actual tv logo. Later, GOLD TV has changed its logo little up. SUN NEWS was unable to hide this and they have stopped the telecast on 9:30 and started showing normal programs.
 
The feed quality is very very bad. SUN News is loosing the quality for showing these kind of feed. Better SUN News ignore these kind of feed from other operators.
