He totally downplayed or even took out that "Sonia gandhi" issue , by saying he is only against these religious harassment stuff and even the photos he showed to the press was that sort , nothing related to any politicians. thats why i posted that last point in your quote.

He is simply using this religious sentiments , which i honestly dont see how that could lead to a communal violence or that sort as a base to build some firewall like stuff or whatever to effectively weed out contents against his party , that too since its crucial in coming election , particularly when the IAC is up in arms against congress
