Ok, so my plan change request has moved to In Progress now, there is some hope I guess.

Looks like my Twitter complaint helped, got a call from a BSNL officer from Ernakulam saying that the plan change has been processed and should complete by EOD if not by tomorrow. She said she'd be calling me tomorrow to confirm as well.

Yep, if the plan shows up in the portal, then you should be good. Otherwise you are the mercy of the CSC employees.

The request is still in progress, I guess once it moves to Complete, I should see the increased speeds. Not sure of the exact work flow for a plan change request. It appears like it needs multiple approvals?

Anyway, can only wait at this point. If it doesn't complete by tomorrow, will give a call to the same number.

Unfortunately its not in portal yet for me ( KSD )... Just realized having good rappo with with local exchange and the Franchisee isnt going to cut it

Keep your fingers crossed till NIB people say.. "our SPY software says he isnt from muncipality.. he doesnt deserve that speed technically"

Status is still open. Customer care (1504) said my plan change is being done. He gave an ETA of 24 hours. Taking that with a pinch of salt.

I just reconnected and now I see the new plan name in https://redirect1.bbportal.bsnl.co.in/portal/. Getting about 150 mbps on average.

And the self care portal request is also marked as complete right around the time I reconnected.

How about international speed? Singapore? Amsterdam?
