It's an excellent initiative, I have seen some calculus lectures and they are truly awesome ! Sal explains everything with so much ease.
This could help a lot of students who have incompetent teachers (Believe me, there are a lot of them- even in public schools).

I have seen MIT videos for physics as well (MIT)
They are also very good for students who need help in Physics. Walter Lewin is really an amazing professor !

There was a question asked about what we would do with a 100mbps or 1GBps connection..if i could afford one i would surely be running my own free educational network, using nothing but tutorials and lectures like these in the most remote rural areas.

could not locate any torrent online which is strange from what i remember, almost all videos comes with an official download link. which is interesting because it's youtube!
