‘Children Films Festival’. A unique mix of 25 Children films - Animation, Mythological, English classics, Adventure, Action & Fun-filled films, this festival will keep the children engaged in hot summers and make their holidays, all the more enjoyable.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Salil Kapoor, COO, Dishtv said “Summer Holidays are always a special time for all the children. We are happy to announce this Children Films Festival, which has been developed on the DTH platform, for the very first time to provide healthy and wholesome entertainment to children. The films available under this festival are a collection of 25 super-hit children films and they have been specially priced at Rs. 25 per film for our little friends. It is our endeavor to keep offering content that is enriching and value adding to our subscribers.” Salil Kapoor added.
With a bouquet of over 25 super-hit films across various categories, this festival will be available on the movie-on-demand (MoD) platform of dishtv. The films have been priced at a stealing price of Rs. 25/- per movie.
Some of the blockbusters which will be showcased during the festival are Ghatotkacha, Aladdin Ka Chirag, Krishna, Prahlad, Prithviraj Chauhan, Taare Zameen Par, The Pied Piper of Hamlin, Tintin, Jungle Book 2, Ben Hur, Asterix in Britain, Tom Sawyer, Arahan, Jock and Asterix & the Vikings. Starting 21st May’09, The Children Film Festival will be available till 30th Jun’09. The films will be changed twice a week i.e. every Thursday and Monday.
