laptop micro phone stops working when i plug my headphones

Hi,

I'm using sennheiser hd 202 headphones and Acer aspire E1-750 laptop. Laptop micro phones stops working when i plug my head phones. Without head phones connected micro phone works perfectly. can you please help me

Go to your audio driver settings and see around the options.

Are you able to speak thorugh headphone's microphone? IF yes, the buy headphone splitter.

It doesn't have microphone. That is the reason I want to use laptop's inbuilt microphone. But when i connect my headphones the laptop's inbuilt microphone stops working.

I found the problem. I selected headset and checked remember my selection. That was the problem .-- dead tinypic image removed --
