Threadripper first gen was a disaster 😂😂 I agree but still their current product lineup was far better than any Intel competion. Cut them. Slacks Bro...😉😉
Ryzen lineup is like 3 yrs old don't compare them with Intel's line up. Even though their 3gen line up was good, their first and second gen weren't that good.

With just two generation they could beat the shit out of Intel. (they have my respect for that)

It takes time to refine this thing(processor)
Intel sitting on thier 14nm shit even in 2020.
They are struggling to cope up with thier so called 10nm chipset. They called of their chip manufacturing plans to shut down. They are ready to accept the fact that they can't manufacture chips lower than 14 or even 10nm (let's see how they go about it)
They optimized the shit out of 14nm hats of to them. But now they understand no matter how they optimize they can't be better than 7nm products.
 
AMD is a fabless semiconductor company.
It doesn't have to worry about die shrink because tsmc manufacture chips for them.
tsmc is doing a great job but Intel has to do it all by itself that's the problem.
Once Intel solves these problems competition would be tough in the pc segment which will be good for us.
 
Yeh they are fabs right now but during first gen they had global foundries who churned their cpu's i believe even during their transition to 12 nm 2gen ryzen they were supported by global foundries.
But then they understood they can't do it like this since global foundries couldn't manufacture 7nm in a global scale
They took it upto tsmc.. They knew they could beat intel on their optimization if they cut down to 7nm. That gamble played well of now, they global sales show that.. Intel fanboies know that.. 😂😂
Even Intel accepted it in their so called internal letters/memo to investment firms.

Intel can't solve the problems as of now. Period it's very dire situation for them. They have accepted it.
And moreover thier software monopoly on server side is like an evil game plan. Threadripper 3rd gen even though better than Intel processors couldnt make use of enough softwares becoz Intel proprietary bullshit.

Intel have cut down the price of thier same 14nm+++++ sever side processors due to amd milan servers. (This is where Intel makes money millions actually compare that to thier customer products it's literally nothing)

Hardware wise ryzen have crossed Intel fabs, give them an year they will do it in the software too.
Heck that Google and Amazon servers have crossed testing water phase and are right now deploying them rapidly throughout their servers..
Iam sure if Intel doesn't come up with a good processor lineup they are doomed for good
 
We're going pretty offtopic here.
Enterprise and Data center business is very lucrative compared to consumer business.
But timeframe of a project deployment in DC/enterprise takes times that's why amd has low market share.
 
Alright fine let's say about consumer chips. I believe amd offers better chips. Period. Their 3000 SERIES.
But still they offer better price cuts right now(period) even without thier next gen 4000series.
Compare that to Intel processors they just loot people. 😑Hate them for that.
