lcd TV around 15-17k for tata sky

i want to get a new tv for my bedroom...preferably an lcd...my budget is 17k at max....i do have a viewsonic lcd monitor 22''...and a tv tuner also..but i do not get optimum results....so now as my ctv is going to be kicked out,i want to but an lcd tv..is it worth going for???and please suggest good lcds[if they can be bought in my budget]

Well I dont think so You will get a LCD tv in this budget..But around 2 weeks back I saw an LCD TV from LG..which was 19K at Pai Electronics at koramangala (Bangalore)..I saw it from outside..If u r frm bangalore just step in and enquire..

I'm from ahmedabad actually....hey, its ok if its a 22" lcd....so is it possible to get a 22" lcd in my budget?
