Issue is with reliability sir. My sister bought a 42 Sony LED for 92K. It died 2 months after warranty. I would be choosy about trying to buy a model that is reliable and lasts for a few years. Cannot afford to buy a TV every other year. That was my only reason of asking why only swadeshi. I think in your budget of 50K there are a lot of options. I suggest you purchase it from a place that gives you extended warranty (Croma etc).
b I have grey market one man, how to be cautious? Is plasma TV more long lasting or was your sister's was 1 off case, like 4-5 percent failure case?
My local dealer didn't had stock of Videocon TVs. Had demo of Sony,Toshiba, Panasonic,LG,Samsung side by side. Found picture quality of Panasonic,Toshiba better than others. Panasonic and Toshiba offering 1+2 years warranty. Will decide after another round of demo.
I have one 46" Sony LCD 2.5 years old grey market and 2 others bought from Singapore/Malaysia. So far touch wood, all are fine.
Only precaution I take is to run all appliances from my house off spike busters (Belkin/Huntkey). Also another thing is all of the equipment runs off points that are connected to my inverter, not sure if that helps clean up the signal somewhat. For my Yamaha receiver/amplifier, I run it off a power conditioner that I purchased in the US.
My sisters LED, dont really know what was the issue, but it hurts when a 90k equipment goes bust in 1.5 years...
Is it same?
Using it for more points rather than surge protection  on my pc
ok just switched it on my tv already , i do not even remember why i was using it on pc but was vitually useless right now
