This is from one of the leaked pics of Moto G4 before launch. The fingerprint scanner looks weirdly aligned in this pic too.

Yes. The fingerprint sensor in the phone which I received today was not exactly on the center (don't know how to put it). I could notice something golden coloured on the inside from the side gap but it was working fine.

I requested for a replacement as I didn't want to take a chance of visiting the SVC because of a manufacturing defect.
