Less speed during night time on 512 kBps quaterly blast

I have taken 512 kBps quaterly plan in which 11pm-9am is unlimited download but after 11pm i get download speed as 5-6 kbps. I called customer care but they said that during night time bcoz its unlimityed everone is downloading so we can do any thing. Any suggestion on how i can increase dl speed fom my end

hmm Sue them ,but another problem is they must have promised Upto 512kpbs .If there is too much of traffic ,then I guess you can't do much .

i m using 256 kbps ul fr 2 months n service is excellent ....but i m in fear that if i go fr 512 kbps blast speed will be less bcz of traffic....i m confused

same plan but time is 12-7am
check signal levels
only check
tx(upstrem).rx(downstrem)& signal to noise ratio
192.168.100.1 shows these details
normal range of the signals tx 54db
rx 2db
s/n ratio 40 db
the attunuator on back of modem does the signal level adj
if u have 10db att get 5db att fom market so as rx signal is around 1-2 db uwill get stable connection.
2nd thing is that some sites take 200ms to reach
any thing within this range u get 60kb/s
above 200ms speed reduces
at night hathway servers r programed to limit speed to 30kb/s
i dont know y they do this blody bastards.
