It is working well till now. Clarity is not affected at all, and seems more durable than normal screen protectors.

It supports Indian band which is Band 40 (2300 Mhz TDD LTE)

It is there in secret menu (Stock LG firmware only).
Type in dialer:
3845#*802# a the secret menu will come up...Then:
1. Go to LTE-Only
2. Modem Settings
3. RAT Selection
4. Select Band 40
Done...
But reverts to default settings after reboot.
BTW KitKat still not available for Indian G2 yet. I read somewhere that it is waiting for approval. But if it has the audio crackling problem, then it's no use updating.
Edit:
4.4.2 KDZ is now available for Indian version
Download 1.6 GB
Flash using offline flashing method found here
OTA will be available soon.
But there will be audio bug where left earphone hisses and crackles.

Ok, i inserted a 4G Airtel SIM that works fine & gives 4g speeds on an iPhone 5s but the same SIM does not work with my LG G2 'D802' even after i try the settings listed above. I even called up Airtel Support [even a senior agent or Supervisor something] & they clearly mentioned that only the G2 'D802T' version is 4g capable - he seemed to be pretty confident because he has given the same answer to a few other customers after a proper internal research.

LG Customer Care & Univercell seem to have clearly misguided us LG G2 D802 buyers. The LG customer care & the article on economic times clearly stated that these phones will get an update which will enable 4g but i don't see that happening after they launched an exclusive 4g version. The customer care now referred me to the local service center when i tried to get an explanation of this
