Hi,
I got a new jio fiber connection and when I connect the jio set top box to my LG FHD(2015) tv over a HDMI port, it shows no signal.

Now, my tv hdmi is already connected to hathway set top box, which works flawlessly.

The jio set top box works fine with my other Realme tv.

I have tried with both HDMI ports on my LG tv, simply shows no signal.

I have tested my LG tv hdmi ports with other devices, seems to work fine. May try with HDMI to RCA converter with Jio stb and see if that works, but I am afraid of the degraded video quality.

Has anyone ever faced this issue with Jio stb? Any suggestions please.

When I got new Airtel xstream STB, technician told me to use new HDMI cable which came with STB saying that new cable is high speed and previous STB cable might not work. But I anyways connected old HDMI cable, and STB worked with old cable as well :)
So point is, did you try with some other HDMI cable? Might be old cable is not compatible with Jio STB. Or are you trying with HDMI cable received with Jio STB?

Tried with 3 different working HDMI cables....sadly no luck. Really frustrating as I can't point out the issue. 😭

Tv hdmi ports work with my laptop and hathway STB. Jio STB works with my other Realme tv.

Do you know if hdmi2av convertor would reduce the video quality too much on my 42" FHD tv? Coz that seems to be the last thing that I could try..

LG tv is the issue here. My Tata Sky hd Or most hdmi device are unstable with LG tv only.
Youtube have some ways to sort it but still tv has its own mood for hdmi ports.

Hardly 1 week ago, I took JIO connection and the line done all the process. When he connected tv box to my LG tv, it didnt shown any thing. Black screen with just HDR written at the top corner. I was having another very old TV with HDMI, I ask them to check tv box on that one. There it worked and they left. Now I thought I will try adding Jio TV box to my LG tv on holiday and it was yesterday when I started checking all videos but everything failed. Then one of my friend suggested try changing the HDMI cable. I searched for the old cable which I bought for my older TV in year 2011. I changed the cable with the older one and it worked with that older cable. My fried told that he also faced same problem with Jio box HDMI cable as it is of low/ inferior quality. The older one which I bought for my older tv was of good quality hence worked. You also get a good quality HDMI cable, preferably with gold plated ports. It will work.

@amitjaiswal, @jhonienglish As far as I know, Jio uses HDMI 2.0 or later (I'm uncertain about exact version) to support 4k and ARC. Did you checked what version of HDMI your LGTV supports ?
Also, I'm little doubtful about LGTV since both of you are facing issue with that brand and Jio.
I have a 12 year old Sony Bravia which connects with Jio STB without any issue.

I am getting similar issue with my LG LED TV 42" which is 2014 model. It gets couple of minutes to show video on screen meanwhile it shows" No Signal " on screen. Any probable solution?
