yeah that is scary.... and that is exactly what honest people have to suffer. criminals don't care - they will just continue with their life.

i guess if someone faces such a scenario they would be forced to take legal recourse anyway, regardless of whether or not you can or cannot sue UIDAI or the govt.

Aadhaar and GST have both been designed in such a way that there is zero accountability through RTI or Courts or even CAG. Private bodies are involved in all crucial stages to ensure that RTIs cannot be applied on them. The entire GST body is a private entity like NPCI. It gives an impression that you are dealing with a government organization but they are not answerable to government or the people of the country. This is why it is essential that legal fights continue. If they are not successful in taking down the project, courts need to do something about how these bodies are being kept out of public scrutiny. How is it a national security issue if activists want to know how many aadhaar cards have been suspended for whatever reason and how many have been erased for whatever reasons and so on.

i am actually considering closing down all my bank accounts and switching to cash completely if nothing happens by december i can move ownership of the forum etc. to mom's name.
