Linksys am300 Modem

I was using Linksys AM300 Annexe A modem . Of late - last 3 days my net wasnt working properly. the airtel engineer came, saw and said the problem is in the Linksys due to SNR. I am pasting the values. can some one enlighten me?

Nothing wrong with the modem settings.
try to change mod mode to Gdmt or ADSl2 +\ instead of auto mode.
Use google dns 8.8.8.8 and open dns 208.67.220.220
Speed shown also good.

Download Ccleaner from filehippo.com
Run the cleaner.
new option . delete as many System Restore Points ( Old )
Keep applications at Start up to the minimum
Mention the browser you use.
Google chrome or Opera recommended.

The Airtel guy said Downstream Margin: 31 db / Upstream Margin: 10 db - is where the problem lies. The AM300 takes a long time to connect to the net. Currently i am using Beetel 220BX1 + Asus RTn13U. i ll go back to Linksys later tonite and try that with asus
