I had to shift to jharsa village, gurgaon, due to medical treatment and closeness of the hospital (medanta). Now, I happen to be looking for a internet connection good enough to play dota 2 and download songs and system images for my phone. So basically, good ping, <100ms? And okayish download speed(open for suggestions as to how much will be required, i surf a lot)
Thanks

not sure what all options are available in jharsa. airtel might be a safe choice.

Also, could someone suggest a plan that does not cap speeds( fup plans, are they called) upon reaching a certain point? Also I'll be needing the plan for about 6 months

Get the Airtel 500GB plan. Costs around Rs. 3000 I think. Should be as good as no-cap-speed plan.

meh, they can't provide anything above 2mbps here. Any other options that might be worth checking out and reading about? I have never stayed in this region of the country so I am absolutely clueless

Nextra is available in some societies around sector 31. Shift there. It is unlikely that any other wired service provider has reliable services in Jharsa region. I am in sector 31 and the max Airtel offers here is 4mbps.

That's bad news then, I can't exactly shift, I need the hospital close by xD Could you just lemme know some major providers, I'll call em up and check.

That's what airtel 4g mobile gave me, and I think it's satisfactory, if not enough. Is there a way to get such speed and ping over airtel broadband or some other way?

Have seen spectranet banners in Jharsa (sec 31). Spectranet is offering 100mbps unlimited for Rs 1100 or so.

Spectranet like Nextra is likely to be only offering their services in societies.

Thanks a lot guys. I figured out that no company, including airtel, provides fiber cable network here. So I gotta choose between airtel 4g, which has very high installation cost, and airtel broadband, on copper wires. Guess I'll go with airtel broadband. I have one last question, how is railwire? And how does it perform?
