It is my understanding that these old dth companies are selling hybrid type of tech, what I read in Dish tv website was that these smart hubs or set top box uses internet only like there was a check option to choose dish antenna or go standalone smrt hub. They give dth feed only.

Can also check out Tata Play Binge+ | 4K Android Smart Set Top Box with OTT ! ( binge box might be slow )
