i am from ranchi and i installed jio fiber today.they say in free trail speed is 150mbps but i am getting currently 40 mbps..what should i do to increase the speed?

@aayush31 That is because your mobile does not support 5 GHz band. If you connect to a 5 GHz band on your mobile you will get 95 Mbps speed over there as well.

You are on Diamond+ plan and even checking the speed over laptop. Check the same on your mobile device, I'm sure you won't get more than 200 Mbps.
I'm having old Silver plan (100 Mbps plan), I usually get over 95 Mbps over laptop and not more than 40 Mbps on my mobile.
Basically it all depends on your plan and the device configuration.
This is because your mobile only supports 20mhz channel width and 1*1 spatial stream.. Try connecting to 5ghz if ur mobile supports then u will get 100mbps

On JioFiber ONT, you’ll get close to 300-330Mbps on 5Ghz, the range isn’t anything to speak about.
I have an Asus AP on mine, so I get close to 470-478Mbps on Wi-Fi on my phone (dependent on the server and server load ofc)

I mentioned in the post - I hit 240-280 Mbps on phone. 300+ Mbps on iPad. All on 5ghz.
