Low speed on torrent and on many other servers on Excitel.

I have never done any torrents in my life except few for testing and knowing what it is. That too way back in 2016-17. So I can't give my review but will surely post it if I ever get to do torrenting which I don't think I'm ever gonna do because I have nothing to work like that. Apart from torrents I do download/upload a lot of stuff from Drive, YouTube etc.
 
Yeah I bought Warp+, that did solve my problem. Defeats the purpose for going excitel if I have to pay extra. Before purchasing warp+, I did check with some other torrents always well. I have noticed for some of the torrent which might have significant indian users in peers list would get good download speeds utilizing all my bandwidth. I guess excitel just has bad consistency because my speed is varying too much across different servers and hardly I am able to max out my bandwidth without using Warp+. Even when using warp+ it can be hit or a miss, but overall I noticed things are significantly better.
 
I see similar overall (poor/low) speeds on most of things. Haven't tested in deep with torrents but Ubuntu download varies from 30Mbps to 200Mbps depending on the time. I notice @random_yadav is in Jaipur as per profile here (that's still true, right)? May be Excitel performance difference on Delhi Vs other cities because they have bit of dark fibre in Delhi. Thus for @Sushubh in Gurgaon there is lower cost of delivery compared to say Jaipur (where NLD circuits are involved). As soon as one has dependency on telcos for NLD, the cost rises with the traffic. But in case of dark fibre cost is not directly proportional on traffic. A 1Gbps to 10Gbps upgrade from Delhi to Jaipur would cost lot more compared to optics upgrade in NCR for Gurgaon users.


@Sushubh - Can you please share:
1) What kind of speeds you see on transfers AWS (Mumbai region) specially uploads?
2) What kind of speeds you see on Backblaze speedtest in EU and US?
 
how do i easily check upload speeds on aws mumbai lol? creating a bucket and using the web ui to upload a big file? 😛

300mbps plan on wired.
 
Your speeds are Backblaze look dramatically different than mine specially on uploads. I am testing on 400Mbps plan (and yes wired):

On constant basis I don't even see ~100Mbps with Backblaze EU on downloads. It slows down after a few mins.


For test via AWS test, you can try via rclone. Curious to see how is Backblaze test for @random_yadav in Jaipur?
