Low speed with 512 unlimited combo plan

Hi Friends,

My download speed in the morning is normal i.e 120 KB/sec. However, it drops significantly in noon & evening & never cross 25 KB/sec mark. My plan is 512 kbps unlimited combo & router is DNA-A213. My router shows 2554 kbps download speed & 1021 kbps upload speed. Please let me know if you've any idea.

As I said in previous post, in the morning download speed is rocking even touching 170 KB/s.

have no idea... probably the guys at mtnl delhi are making some major updates changes to the speeds and the network...so that may be a reason why many people are getting synced to really high line speeds .... while others are facing difficulties... something fishy is going on for sure...i think we should wait for 1 week or so for a official announcement by mtnl ... because the local officials seem to have no idea about what is going on

May be you're right. However, I noticed one strange thing. When speedtest result shows low speed & high ping, my download speed is good i.e. 120 KB/s & normally it happens in morning around 8 AM IST. And when speedtest result shows great speed & low ping, my download speed is 10 or 12 KB/s i.e. anything below 25 KB/s. Why it happens I don't know. Do you have any ideas?

Hi Friends,It seems nothing works at present. It's as usual gr8 speed in morning & slows down considerably as days progresses. Therefore, I'll migrate to 256 combo unlimited plan & saves Rs 400.Thanks.
