Lyf Smartphones Slow Charging Problem

My Wind 4 got updated automatically OTA day before yesterday and the charging issues seems to have been gone! In fact, the phone doesn't heat up much when using the WiFi hotspot (which is ON 24/7). Will update this thread if I face issues again with charging.
(Downloaded like 350GB data in 4 days. )

Hey guys,
Today i got my Flame 1 updated to software ver. 217. The charging problem is solved. However it wasn't OTA, i went to service center to get it updated.

I just got notification of wireless update on my flame 1. its a 84.17 mb update. version- LYF_LS-4503_00_217_160610
release notes:
- optimize some functions of system
- fix some bugs
hope this will fix the charging issue. will let you guys know if it works or not

Just use the OTA app for that. I provided the zip so people could look through it if they wanted.


If you really want to use the zip to update you need to copy update.zip (which is inside) and place it in /data/data/com.adups.fota/adupsfota/

I would update my phone but i am only getting 10KBps-20KBps speed while downloading update via wireless udpate option

Yeah same here. I got 5MB/s when downloading it on my desktop though.
