May be we should wait for xgs tech to come and almost all service providers start providing over 2gbps plan and at that point of time we will see router specifications going up along with 10gbps support at significantly lower price than todays

@akshay71 @markiv I don't see 1Gig+ speeds coming to India, UNLESS and UNTIL the DoT and GoI plans to delicense the entire or lower 6GHz Spectrum for Wi-Fi. ONLY then 2Gig, 5Gig, 8Gig and 10Gig plans will suffice. Until then, 1Gig is the most we are getting. If India wants to compete and move forward in the tech space, they should follow the American or European delicensing method, instead of following the licensing method of China of the entire 6GHz spectrum.
