Shahid will be mainlining the Hindi remake of Magadheera (2009), the superhit Telugu film which was about reincarnation. The film is set in the current time but the characters have a connect to their previous lives 400 years ago. And he finally gets the chance to grow his hair and wave a sword while riding a horse. Shahid says, “Since childhood I have always wanted to sit on a horse and hold a sword in my hand… Magadeera is giving me that opportunity.”
