If they can bring down the price to $25'000 or less for India release, I can bet that it'll be a super hit and clean the car market for the year single handed.
In their standard / base model I guess it won't be possible, but what if they could rip out some premium luxuries that we here in India don't care and won't mind???

ahem. it's a sports car. it is faster than a Porsche. and would cost around the same if imported for sale in India. it is not a budget segment sedan from ANY angle.

The Reva car does look really good and 4L for the car isn't that bad. How will it be charged though? Through charging stations?I'm going to the Auto Expo so I will surely see this thing.

the govt shud remove the ridiculous duty for imported electric cars. that wud price them almost on par with the american/european countries. Let them keep high duties on petrol/diesel cars. this single duty structure is totally stupid. they are actually ending up discouraging ppl from buying or having access to electric cars.
