Being a airtel digital tv customer since 17 months i have seen that picture and audio settings r not properly managed by ur technical team.''firstly'' most channels r full with pixellation despite having so much space on ses 7 satellite bcoz ur team has applied same compression to channels as they applied to insat 4cr. Many channels like sahara one, imagine tv, sab, colors, mahuaa, axn, pix, star movies, zee studio, ten cricket , lok sabha tv, channel v, mastii, vh1, e24, kalaignar tv, etv2, etv marathi, 24 ghanta, etv bangla,star majha,mi marathi, ibn lokmat, suvarna, kairali,otv, dd ne, aastha, sanskar r clear examples of poor management of setting as a result of high compression which have totally destroyed the viewing experience. This needs to b adressed urgently that all channels r relayed with proper quality on ses 7 satellite as u have enough space there. Only few channels like star one, star gold, star news, aaj tak, isai aruvi, aakash bangla r running in good picture quality as high compression has not been applied.Plz plz relay the channels in good picture quality which will only happen if proper bit rate is given to each channel to relay properly .''secondly'' the logo positioning on prathana and cbs spark is totally shifted to extreme right, plz correct it as it does not look nice that even a small thing like arrangement of company logo is not done properly and it is left neglected. I have seen this happening many times and no action has been taken to correct it.''thirdly'' all four audio feeds of national geographic channel no. 341 have been compressed so much that it has completely gone bad,plz give all 4 audio feeds in proper quality and dont apply so much compression like u have done now. Also volume levels of mastiii, bloomberg utv, discovery turbo and discovery science r too low, plz increase it and adjust it properly. Lastly please note that audio and video allignement is not proper in telegu feed of discovery channel,audio is coming late, so plz correct the allignment. Airtel has applied too much dynamic range compression on audio and it is really a hindrance in listening to high pitch sound events or music and it completely diminishes fun of listening. Plz tell ur tech team to remove dynamic range compression and automatic volume leveller which they have applied on ausio of all channels. Plz this needs to b done urgently, not many people will complain on this due to lack of technical knowledge but its ur responsibility to give best possible sound quality and i hope u rectify it.airtel always neglects and is careless about these issues bcoz most customers would not b able to guess it and hence no action is taken by airtel on its own but i think being such a reputed and big name if airtel does not perform its responsibility just due to ignorance then its really a very sad situation to say the least.''fourthly'' movies now on channel no. 197 and angel tv on channel no. 614 r both demodulated version of high defination feeds for normal viewing on normal stb but airtel is relaying these channels in pan scan format which leads to picture coming stretched from up and down in normal tv. Kindly adjust the settings on encoder and relay these channels in letter box format like cable operators in india r doing on analogue cable. These 16:9 ratio channels should always b telecasted in letter box format so that in normal tv picture does not come stretched from up and down. Plz do adjust the settings to letter box on encoder of these two channels to solve the issue so that we can view the channels properly on normal tv''lastly'' this is the most silly thing that airtel does not designate proper genre or category to a channel, fx and fox crime have been designated infotainment channels but these r actually entertainment channels, see the genre along side channel name in mini guide. Similarly last year when two sun channels changed their name and positions on satellite, airtel did not swap the channel names for 4 months and when they did still genre names have not been swapped. Plz assign gemini movies with movies channel genre and gemnini comedy comedy as entertainment genre channel in miniguide bar, right now opposite genres have been applied bcoz when sun tv changed and swapped satellite positioning of the channels, airtel did not notice it and did not make the changes in genre accordingly to new channel nos of these two.I hope that these changes r made as soon as possible and my important feedback is not put into dustbin. I have performed my responsibility as a customer and would feel nice if appropriate action is taken which will benefit all customers and ultimately that should b the motive of every company . There will b only .2 percent customers like me who would take initiative like this as mostly 99 percent customers r selfish or not well informed about these issues. If airtel does not take these feedback seriously , not only would i feel bad but this would make it certain that airtel does not care to take customer's feedback seriouslythank you
