Except people of Gujarat, nobody from us (or other people not on this forum) have been to Gujarat. But since Modi is elected thrice as CM of that state, so he must have some merit over others in terms of governance. Same applies to CM of other states who are also elected 2/3/4 times as CM of their respective state, but unfortunately they are not PM candidate :)

Congress is in power in Delhi government through AAP government? So why is AAP protesting outside the Home Ministry? For the lulz?
Sab drama hai. FFS, he is a Chief Minister and not Anna Hazare. He should talk straight to face of Mr. Sushilkumar Shinde.

I have been there. The quality of roads was the first thing I noticed.Here is a thread on team-bhp where people are sharing their experiences.

Hooda has been CM of Haryana 2 times lol. Not because he is a good chief minister. Actually I have no idea why Congress came to power second time at all. But then the opposition is practically non-existing at the moment. The Lal family has become quite irrelevant in the past decade or so.

If you already don't know, politics is a profession in itself.They are ruling the nation through a proxy Prime Minister. For a period of 10 years
instead of ruling , corruption would be a better word
apart from their surname , they dont have anything and havent done anything

Surname? That too not their own. It is borrowed... :D

lol. strangest coincidence in indian political history. nehru family is known as the gandhi family with no connection with mahatma gandhi.

Gandhi = votes
if someday , something else comes up rahul might change back to raul vinci , so bad that a country with a huge population has no one else to represent itself
other than these leeches

As for Modi... Now I have never been to Gujarat. I have no idea how 'developed' the internal areas are (outside the major cities) so I am not in any position to say how effective he has been as the CM of the state.
I have travelled to rural Gujarat number of times and trust me, the roads are much better than rest of the country.

Slamming Narendra Modi's development claims, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that it is his party which has always worked towards the development of poor. "Development in the state is a collective effort, one man can't take credit for all of it," he said.Addressing a rally in Gujarat's Bardoli, Rahul said, "With a Rs 11 poverty line, BJP is mocking the poor in Gujarat." "We want to wipe out poverty, BJP govt in Gujarat wants to wipe out the poor," he added.Taking a dig at Modi, Rahul said, "We should respect everyone, be it a tea-vendor or a car driver. Everyone does work. However, we cannot respect someone who makes a fool of common people.""Congress has brought people out of poverty. Congress got the Lokpal Bill passed. Congress wants to pass anti-corruption bills," he said. "There was no Lokayukta in Gujarat for 9 years. People in Gujarat first go to jail and then become ministers," he added.

Rs. 32 > Rs. 11. Congress wins this round.
