Deadpool May Make His MCU Debut In Spider-Man 3

Well, we’re hearing from MCU Cosmic tonight that Kevin Feige and co. are currently mulling over three different options, and they’re as follows:

• A new solo film, such as Deadpool 3.
• A Disney Plus limited series.
• Guest-starring in Spider-Man 3.

MCU Phase 4 Movie Release Schedule May Have Just Leaked

May 1st 2020 – Black Widow

November 6th 2020 – Doctor Strange 2

February 12th 2021 – The Eternals

May 7th 2021 – Black Panther 2

November 5th 2021 – Shang Chi

February 18th 2022 – Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3

May 6th 2022 – Captain Marvel 2

July 29th 2022 – Avengers 5

Whilst this list should of course be taken with a grain of salt, it honestly doesn’t seem all that unrealistic.

Well some of the predictions in the last post came true. Let's see.

List of Movies announced:

• Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson and Rachel Weisz and directed by Cate Shortland, arriving in theaters on May 1, 2020
• The Eternals, starring Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek and directed by Chloe Zhao, arriving in theaters on November 6, 2020
• Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, starring Simu Liu and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, arriving in theaters on February 12, 2021. Shang Chi will be Marvel’s first film with a lead character of Asian descent.
• Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen (yes, Scarlet Witch) and directed by Scott Derrickson, arriving in theaters on May 7, 2021
• Thor: Love and Thunder, directed by Taika Waititi and starring Natalie Portman (who will wield the legendary hammer as the first female Thor), Tessa Thompson, and Chris Hemsworth, arriving in theaters on November 5, 2021

List of TV shows announced:

• The Falcon & Winter Soldier in fall 2020
• WandaVision in spring 2021
• Loki in spring 2021
• WHAT IF ...? — an animated series featuring characters from the MCU in summer 2021
• Hawkeye in fall 2021

Kevin Feige also confirmed that Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2 are in development but refused to give out any dates. Safe to assume that they will be coming in 2022 then?

He also confirmed upcoming movies of X-Men and Fantastic Four but again didn't give any specific details. Will have to wait a bit longer for that. More details and hopefully a trailer or some footage will popup at Disney's D23 Convention scheduled to happen August 23 - 25, 2019 at Anaheim.

What was missing from Phase 4 announcements
No Spiderman
No Avengers
No Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

I am guessing these are being reserved again either for the D23 convention or a future panel.

There was something else missing too. Kevin Feige promised that Marvel's first LGBT character will be revealed soon. Didn't happen. But all things point to Valkyrie at the moment.

Kevin Feige also confirmed that these 10 movies and shows are all that's Phase 4. (Blade is not in Phase 4).

Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington Reportedly Getting Marvel Cinematic Universe Role

In a casting rumor dropped by Deadline, it's being stated that Marvel's Kevin Feige is courting Kit Harington for a role in the MCU - though no specific details on what that role is, or what project Harington could star in, are being shared at this time.

Possibly a movie role.

Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk Confirmed as Part of Marvel Studios’ Phase 4

Newest Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight — all unveiled by Disney Friday at D23 Expo — will help comprise Marvel Studios’ Phase 4, the studio confirmed.
