SPIDER-MAN Will Get One More Adventure In The MCU As Marvel And Sony Reach Deal; Release Date Announced

The movie has been given a release date of July 16th, 2021 which makes it part of Phase 4.

There’s another untitled Marvel movie which Disney is moving from Nov. 10, 2023 to Nov. 3, 2023.

Meanwhile, Disney has scrubbed a live action title previously on July 14, 2023 from the schedule and an untitled Marvel movie on Oct. 6, 2023 off the schedule. Also, an untitled 20th Century Studios movie dated on Oct. 20, 2023 is no longer on the schedule.

Reasons for the move
1. To avoid putting Doctor Strange in extreme closeness to the Spider-man movie which is being touted as the biggest Disney/Sony movie to date.
2. Will give time to promote other properties properly.

Of course, it helps that now there is no contender against the Batman movie. Though Thor will fall in the same month as Black Adam and Black Panther will release just a week after the Flash movie.
