I was allocated a static ip 182.69.118.0/24 and i had set the gateway to 182.69.118.1. Since past two days the speed has tanked to 1mbps (it was working fine before). Strangely traceroute shows the second hop to be 122.161.47.255 instead of 182.69.118.1. However, i can still ping to 182.69.118.1.
If i change to pppoe connection, i get the full allotted speed so definitely this is an issue with static ip.
Anybody else has run into this?
