I got a call from Airtel offering mesh router for 99/PM and deposit of 1000. They are offering Huawei WA8021V5 device.

how you know they offer Huawei WA8021v5? here in my region JAIPUR RAJASTHAN, they said we would give you Sercomm AOT-4221-SR ONT with 2 Mesh ONT of the same brand.

So @tangojoker 2 engineers called me regarding mesh saying sir don't buy it they only have Sercomm AOT-4221-SR ONT & its Mesh Unit, they don't supply Huawei (banned in India in 2020) & this model will be an imported unit you may buy from AliExpress, etc things. They said every time this mesh unit gets faulty it will reset itself provoking Main ONT to find it & if not found it will reset itself to find it back & then only the engineer visit will set it up. if you need I can also give you call recordings of the same.

तो @tangojoker 2 इंजीनियरों ने मुझे मेश के बारे में कॉल किया और कहा कि सर इसे मत खरीदिए उनके पास सिर्फ़ Sercomm AOT-4221-SR ONT और इसकी मेश यूनिट है, वे Huawei (भारत में 2020 में प्रतिबंधित) की आपूर्ति नहीं करते हैं और यह मॉडल एक आयातित यूनिट होगी जिसे आप Aliexpress आदि से खरीद सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हर बार जब यह मेश यूनिट खराब होती है तो यह खुद को रीसेट कर लेती है और मेन ONT को इसे खोजने के लिए उकसाती है और अगर नहीं मिलती है तो यह खुद को रीसेट कर लेती है और फिर इंजीनियर की यात्रा ही इसे सेट करेगी। अगर आपको ज़रूरत हो तो मैं आपको इसकी कॉल रिकॉर्डिंग भी दे सकता हूँ।

@DakshK579 I asked the customer agent about the make and model. i also asked him about buying the device rather than paying rental. they didnt have the option. A friend of mine also got the same call. This is in Bangalore region.

Bro I would like to say they are telling a lie can you just call record and book once & record the engineer call regarding this. Same I told to my friend in Delhi & he said no they don't have Huawei at all
